Designed for youth aged 6-16, this exciting event will take place on Saturday, September 7th. It will be held from 10 AM to 2 PM at Nelson Academy. The school is located at 1951 Cherry Ave, Signal Hill, CA. Parking is available in the rear near 20th & Walnut St.
Hoops After Dark/CalYes is led by passionate director Leonard Adams. Furthermore, it is a program that provides young people with a safe space to develop their athletic and leadership skills. Adams, who has spent his life helping young people, has created a program that offers much more than just basketball.

With Washington Middle School undergoing remodeling and closed for the foreseeable future, hundreds of its students are being relocated to Mary Butler School. This event provides an essential opportunity for students from both schools to meet and mingle.
