Former NFL player Troy Vincent hosts ‘day of jubilee’ for students in Long Beach

More than 700 students got to play sports and games with former NFL cornerback Troy Vincent on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at John Muir Academy in Long Beach as part of his annual Safe Zone Activity Day.

Vincent, a former first-round draft pick, five-time Pro Bowler and member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Hall of Fame, hosts this event annually in the days leading up to the Super Bowl. This weekend’s Super Bowl LVI will be at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, about a 20-minute drive from the Long Beach school.
