ADRIANA SANFORD, DUAL LL.M., J.D.
Adriana Sanford is an American Program Bureau Keynote Speaker and Thought Leader, who has delivered more than 150 keynote addresses on cyber and global privacy law-related risks through international professional associations and global organizations. The founder of Data Privacy Help, LLC and recipient of the 2019 CSWY Cybersecurity Woman Law & Privacy Professional of the Year Award, she is the Executive Director of ISSA-LA, an Adjunct professor of Global Privacy Laws and Senior Fellow at Claremont Graduate University (CGU), and works remotely with the Chilean law firm Puga Ortiz. Sanford is also the co-author of two books on business ethics, cybersecurity, and global threats that were adopted by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). She is a California-licensed transactions corporate lawyer with multiple law degrees from Georgetown and Notre Dame, diverse language fluencies, and international law firm and senior in-house legal experience, who has provided privacy training to senior professionals since 2014.
AANCHAL GUPTA
Aanchal Gupta is the Deputy CISO and Corporate Vice President at Microsoft. Aanchal leads a diverse team of security experts working around the clock to protect one of the world’s largest corporate networks and providing the first line of defense for billions of customers against an evolving security landscape. Previously, as CISO for Novi (Calibra) at Facebook, she led a team responsible for assessing and mitigating security risks across Facebook’s cryptocurrency initiative. Gupta joined Facebook in 2016 after serving as CISO at Microsoft for Skype and Skype for Business. Prior to Microsoft, she led Yahoo’s Global Identity team, contributing to various authentication and authorization open standards such as OpenID and OAuth. Gupta was named one of Business Insider’s “Most powerful female engineers of 2018”. She serves on the board of Silvergate Capital Corporation (NYSE:SI), Internet Security Research Group (ISRG), and is a fellow at the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce).

ISSA-LA MEMBERSHIP
Becoming a member of ISSA, Los Angeles Chapter, means joining an enthusiastic and engaged community of information security professionals in Southern California. ISSA-LA offers different types of memberships for professionals who are interested in information security. The General Membership costs $95.00 (USD)/year plus chapter dues, and is open to individuals who work in the private or public sector with primary responsibilities in information systems security, IS Auditors, educators, attorneys, law enforcement officers, or professionals who market or supply security equipment or products. We also offer discounted multi-year memberships, such as a 2-year membership for $185 (USD) plus 2 years of chapter dues, or a 3-year membership for $275 (USD) plus 3 years of chapter dues.
