A+D Architecture and Design Museum, Los Angeles Opens Submissions for Third Annual Design Awards
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, April 13, 2023/EINPresswire.com/ — After a year’s hiatus, we are excited to announce the return of the A+D Museum’s Design Awards.
The A+D Museum Design Awards break away from the traditional award program structure to recognize the work on the fringes of contemporary design space. Through the jury and categories, the awards are designed to acknowledge the cross-disciplinary and multi-experiential reality of the architecture and design community.
This year, A+D Museum Design is announcing a new category: Realtime/Interactive. This category acknowledges the best in real-time and interactive design, including immersive experiences, metaverse, AR, VR, and video games.
The categories presented are designed to acknowledge the cross-disciplinary and multi-experiential reality of the architecture and design community. They are structured to go beyond the restrictive nature of those dedicated to a specific field. It is encouraged that both professionals and students to submit their project(s) to the categories that they see best fit.
“Over the years, we have been honored to review some truly exemplary projects, ” says Managing Director, Camille Elston. “The Design Awards encourages diversity and experimentation in submitted work. It’s a great way for up-and-coming designers to gain recognition for work that pushes the envelope.”
