If you are a Creed movie fan, you may remember watching “King” Gabe Rosado as Leo “The Lion” Sporino in the 2015 boxing film. After Rosado’s knockout acting debut, he’s been in the ring taking on tough fights and knocking out opponents.

In 2021, boxing enthusiasts witnessed the stunning knockout punch Rosado delivered to Silver Medal Olympian “Bek the Bully” Bektemir Melikuziev. That KO earned Rosado the WBA Continental Americas and WBO International super middleweight titles.

Philly’s own will face the Republic of Uzbekistan super middleweight for a long-awaited rematch in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 22 at the T-Moblie Arena. Rosado (26-16-1, 15 KOs) and Melikuziev (11-1, 9 KOs) are scheduled 10-round bout is one of several undercards that will lead up to the co-main events. “I am confident, I will right the wrong,” said Melikuziev. Thirty-seven-year-old Rosado vows to repeat his victory.

The pay-per-view telecast will begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and features Cuban star and WBA Super Middleweight Champion David Morrell Jr. battling Olympic Bronze Medalist Yamaguchi Falcao in the co-main event. Kicking off the telecast will be hard-hitting 19-year-old middleweight Elijah Garcia facing rugged Kevin Salgado of Mexico in a 10-round showdown. 

“Tank” Gervonta Davis and “King Ry” Ryan Garcia headline the SHOWTIME PPV® production taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions.

The non-title PPV 12-round showdown is between two unbeaten knock-out artists “Tank” Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26 KOs) at 5’5″ and “King Ry” Ryan Garcia at 5’10” (23-0, 19 KOs). The tale of the tape is impressive; Davis with eight 1st round knockouts and 5 second round knockouts. Garcia landed eight 1st round KOs and 6 second round knockouts.

Who will reign as the new face of boxing? When the final bell rings, the world will know.
