The countdown begins! Water for Life Benefit Concert is just 2 days away.

Give Water, Give Life is a nonprofit organization that brings the gift of fresh water to cities in Africa. This year, Benedicta Obannaya, pastor of Venice United Methodist Church, the visionary and leader of this great movement created a special evening of entertainment, community, and benevolence. The goal is to raise $50,000 to save lives by giving more people access to more drinking water.

“I’ve known Benedicta for a few years. I’ve seen what she’s doing to transform water sourcing in Africa. Her passion is contagious, so I’m more than happy to support the efforts of Mrs. O and her team in making this evening extra special,” says Dana Nickerson, the Mistress of Ceremony for the event that will be held this Saturday in Venice, California.

As a speaker, Dana has established a reputation for being an engaging thought leader and seems to relate easily to any audience. She’s sassy and expressive and knows how to weave humor into any situation making her conversations magnetic. She’s sure to set the stage for a fun-filled night.

This Saturday’s line-up has earned the warm welcome they’ll receive. Comedienne Sartarius Piernas, an LA native will have everyone rolling on the floor with her realer than real jokes that leave you thinking. Manny Olguin, a tenor, will be swooning the evening away. He’s performed at such iconic stages as Carnegie Hall and abroad. Abiodun Koya, a Nigerian-born classical vocalist who’s performed for President Barak Obama, George W. Bush, kings, and other world leaders will truly make this a night to remember.
